Entomology department, Popenoe Entomology Club partner with Flint Hills Discovery Center on pollinator education

The entomology department and the Popenoe Entomology Club have partnered with the Flint Hills Discovery Center to educate guests on pollinators as part of the temporary exhibit, "Amazing Butterflies," on display at the center May 18-Sept. 8.
Earn your wings in this interactive maze exhibit as you:
- Discover the mysterious lifecycle from caterpillar to butterfly.
- Identify different butterfly species.
- Learn about their unique survival challenges.
- Become a caterpillar and transform into a butterfly.
- Navigate the terrain filled with puzzles, games and challenges around every twist and turn.
- Face obstacle course-style interactives where you jump, crawl and soar down a butterfly zip line.
