Joseph Awika named department head of grain science and industry

The K-State College of Agriculture has announced that Joseph Awika has accepted the position of department head of grain science and industry.
Zac Malcolm to serve as College of Arts and Sciences director of recruitment
Zac Malcolm has been hired as the inaugural director of recruitment for the College of Arts and Sciences. He previously served as the recruitment coordinator for the college and began his new position on May 12.
Pre-Professional and Exploratory Advising Center welcomes new advisors
Olivia Miller and Stephanie Rose have been hired as the university's new exploratory advisors. In their roles, they will help students in exploring and deciding on academic majors and career paths.

College of Veterinary Medicine presents scholarships and awards during annual banquet
The College of Veterinary Medicine hosted its 2024 Senior Banquet on May 7 at the K-State Student Union Grand Ballroom. The college presented $282,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors, with more than 75 awards presented.
APDesign's Virginia Brunner-Livingston earns IDEA Staff Excellence Award

Virginia Brunner-Livingston in the K-State College of Architecture, Planning & Design, or APDesign, has earned the 2024 IDEA Staff Excellence Award.
